Squaw Peak Area

What you need to know

This is the king of gorgeous mountain views! At the base is a nice view if you don’t want to drive up the mountain, but if you can brave the mountain road there are aspens, fields, views, and even a peak we can crest to literally be on top of the world.

Best time to go is late spring, summer, and fall colors are to die for here. Closed in the winter.

You will need a high clearance-ish vehicle. It’s very dusty, sometimes muddy, and this area is closed in the winter.
