Your elevated elopement experience

Cinematic Stories in unforgetable places

Elopements are about presence, connection, and place. They are intimate, intentional days shaped by emotion and atmosphere. Whether your vows are exchanged on a mountaintop or in a quiet corner of the world, these moments deserve to be documented with care, artistry, and refinement.

From thoughtful planning and light-driven guidance to navigating unpredictable weather and environments, I approach elopements with both vision and preparation.

Every image is then carefully refined through world-class post-production, removing distractions and elevating each frame while preserving authenticity resulting in imagery that feels cinematic, immersive, and timeless.

Presence Over Performance

Nevery worry about what to do.

I work in a way that allows you to stay immersed in your moments rather than performing for the camera.

Stepping in and confidently guiding when needed, and stepping back to capture intimate emotions without pulling you out of what’s unfolding, preserving your day as it truly felt.

World Class Retouching

Every image is refined with advanced retouching and artistic control, allowing any distraction, difficult lighting, environmental challenges, and imperfections to be quietly removed or transformed, while enhancing what is real and meaningful.

Your full gallery is delivered quickly and masterfully edited, so you can relive your wedding while it still feels close through imagery designed to feel timeless, cinematic, authentic, and enduring.

The Art of Seeing

Your wedding gallery isn’t just by what happens,

but by how it’s seen.

Through purposeful angles, layered compositions, fluid movement, deep understanding of light, weather, and environment, your images are crafted to feel cinematic, immersive, and distinctly different from the standard wedding collection. Art.

Need help deciding a location?

It’s about more than finding a pretty spot, it’s about choosing a place that truly fits your desires, from permits and group size to privacy, accessibility, and flow.

After photographing dozens of elopements in and around Moab, I’ve come to know this area far beyond a short list of popular spots. From arches and wide-open canyon overlooks to hidden corners and even lesser known waterfalls, I can help you find a place that fits what you want for your Moab Elopement.

We can work to find what is best for you when it comes to time of year, weather, crowds, time of day, permits, activities, and even good places to eat!

Master Retouching & Editorial Artistry

Your images deserve to feel effortless, elegant, and intentional. Free from distractions, clutter, and the small things that pull attention away from the moment.

We want refinements that feel invisible and elevated, not plastic.

What remains is the true feeling — the emotion, the beauty, the story, you.

With 14 years of world-class post-production experience and international award recognition (including teaching, speaking, and projects with leading industry companies) every image is refined with intention and mastery.

Whether you prefer subtle refinement or full cinematic retouching, you can trust that every image will be crafted with precision, artistry, and care. Preserving authenticity while elevating the extraordinary.

You are safe here.

Worried about weather?

Rain or shine

Unpredictable weather doesn’t derail a wedding day, it gives it character.

In my 14 years I have experienced it all: rain, wind, snow, heat, hurricanes, sudden shifts, and more.

I don’t simply cope with weather… I know how to flow with it, find beauty inside it, and shape it into something cinematic and meaningful.

When the elements show up on your wedding day, they’re not a problem to solve, they’re part of the story and often the very thing that makes your images unforgettable.

“She was an absolute dream to work with! Funny, calm, confident, and full of the best guidance.

She made us feel completely comfortable and natural, even when we had no idea what we were doing.

And the photos… every single one took our breath away. She captured not only the big moments, but the quiet in-betweens we didn’t even know we’d cherish so much.”

See Why
I’m Not just another photographer

What can I do during an Elopement?

An elopement isn’t just a ceremony and a few photos. It’s a chance to design a day that feels entirely your own, one that you will remember for a lifetime.

Beyond vows and portraits, it’s an invitation to build a day around what lights you up, to chase light, explore landscapes, move, breathe, celebrate, and create something that feels more like an experience than an event.

The result is imagery that feels less like documentation and more like artwork, visual stories of you and the person you love, immersed in an experience you created together.

Random side note

I love doing hair! Especially updos, and my updos DO NOT fall out even after dancing! I am on the spectrum and one of my biggest sensory triggers was hair touching my ears or neck so I spent YEARS learning a bunch of different way to do it and make it stay. It has come in handy quite a few times.

I’ve even done hair for several of my brides before so if you can’t find someone to do your hair, I got you. Send me a message.

The cornerstone of your elopement

What can our ceremony look like?

One of the best parts about elopements and destination weddings is rules/tradition can go out the window! We can make this unique to you and your relationships, either adding in the traditional wedding elements or creating your own. No one else will have a day like yours.

So what can you add in?

Letters from loved ones

Just because you are eloping it doesn’t mean important family or loved ones can’t be a part of your day. Have them write letters to be read during your ceremony as a way to feel their spirit.

Sand Pouring

Meant to represent merging your lives together, each of you pour different sand types in layers into a vase. You can even use sand or soil from the location of your elopement if is is legally allowed.

Champaign pop

This is, above all else, a celebration! The way the two of you found each other and the safety you two found in each other is worth celebrating! Grab a drink, shake it, pop it, drink it, have fun! It should be full of fun!

Ring exchange

This is still a powerful and meaningful symbol in a marriage, and can absolutely be a part of your elopement ceremony!

You can even tie a stand of grass from your elopement location on their finger as a way to connect you to the earth around you. (And store or save that cute peice of grass forever  as a precious memory!)

Vow Exchange

You know how you feel about them, they know how they feel about you, but there is something about putting it into words, permanent and vulnerable, that is absolutely worth doing on your elopement day. Our goal is to make them cry! Haha

Plant something

Plant a tree, a flower, a bush, a seed. Something to take home, (or even something native to plant at the ceremony site). It can be a symbol of your love, alive and in need of constant care and growth.

Hand Fasting

Your ceremony can be much more than just holding hands and saying words. Incorporate meaningful practices or items that mean something to YOU. Hand fasting, water pouring, or I even have had a Harry Potter unbreakable vow and it was so much fun.

First Dance

Take a moment after your ceremony to hold each other, share the same breath, the same air, listen to the world arond you and just dance. Take that moment to be the only two people on earth. Memorize the smells and the sounds.

I even like to use a long zoom lens to give you two space during moments like this. Giving you privacy while still being able to give you the breathtaking images.

Self solemnize

In the states listed below (and hopefully more soon!) you don’t need an officiant, you can marry yourselves!

Colorado, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Wisconsin

Vow Exchange

You know how you feel about them, they know how they feel about you, but there is something about putting it into words, permanent and vulnerable, that is absolutely worth doing on your elopement day. Our goal is to make them cry! Haha

Bring Guests!

Elopements don’t mean you can’t bring anyone with you!! Bring a wedding party. Bring your family, friends, pets. If you can’t imagine your day without them, bring them if possible! This can also help you narrow down a location.

Officiant?

Bring a friend or family member with you to officiate!

Hire someone local to the area to officiate (may be required if this is a legal out of country wedding)

I can bring someone to officiate! Inquire about that with me=)

OR legally get married at home, and do a vow exchange or mock ceremony at the elopement locatin.

First Look

There’s something special about seeing your loved one for the first time, all buttoned up and glowing, and knowing you are looking at the rest of your life.

At the beginning of the elopement, do a first look to see each other for the first time and show off all your hard work.

Live Music

See if you can find someone local to play live music for you! Or even bring your favorite playlist and play the music yourself. If not, let the sounds of the world around you sing during your elopement.

Add Culture

Wether it’s your culture(s) or the culture of the location you choose to elope, surround yourself with the beliefs and symbols that mean something to you or the land you stand on.

You already know this but

Two is better than one!

I approach your wedding day as an artist and storyteller whose job is to give you both an incredible efficient experience and imagery that feels like artwork.

I photograph with two cameras on me at all times, each with a different lens and purpose.

One captures wide, cinematic scenes and atmosphere.

The other is a telephoto lens that allows me to quietly step back and zoom in close, creating intimate and emotional images without interrupting the moment.

With the added flexibility of multiple cameras, the day flows naturally and the variety of images can happen quicker. I move seamlessly between perspectives, creating a gallery that feels layered and complete, expansive and cinematic, then close and emotional, often within seconds.
