What you need to know

This location is straight out of a movie scene, a little nestled lake surrounded on all sides by towering mountains. Most of the trees are pine trees which makes it pretty all year round. In the winter the lake is covered in ice and snow and it can be hard to walk around. Late spring, summer, and fall are all gorgeous.

WINTER: snowy, ice, trail may be closed

SPRING: some snow, still chilly, lake starts to appear

SUMMER: greens and pines, gorgeous lake and wooden trails through towering pine trunks

FALL: a little bit of fall color can be found here
