Portrait sessions with me are meant to feel easy, fun, and nothing like a stiff photoshoot, especially for kids.
I work efficiantly and with intention, guiding in a way that draws out genuine expressions and natural connection. The result is images that feels authentic, and create art from where you are in life right now.
Behind the scenes, my world-class editing means almost nothing is a problem. From distractions and lighting challenges to little details you wish weren’t there, or head swaps to make sure everyone looks their best.
And don’t feel stressed in needing to find a location, I have a curated list of beautiful locations to choose from any time of year, and you can relax knowing every part of your session is thoughtfully handled.

Your images are expertly retouched to enhance the way the moment felt while remaining authentic, with things like crowds, windblown hair, (or quite literally anything) quietly removed so nothing pulls focus from your story.

Most people come into a session wondering if it’s going to feel awkward, stressful, or like something they have to “perform” for.
My goal is the opposite.
I create an environment that feels easy and natural. Where you’re guided without ever feeling stiff or over-directed. You never have to wonder what to do, how to stand, or whether you’re “doing it right.” I take care of the flow, the light, the pacing, the posing, and the problem-solving so you can simply be you. We want this to be as authentic and YOU as possible!
And if you’re bringing kids, you can take a deep breath. I work quickly, read energy well, and know how to keep things light and moving so sessions stay fun instead of overwhelming. Kids don’t have to be perfect. They can be kids.
With years of experience, deep preparation, and master-level editing behind the scenes, you don’t have to carry any of the pressure. You’re free to be present, knowing every detail is being thoughtfully handled.

I truly believe every day is a unique piece of artwork from nature. The elements can be wild and unpredictable, sometimes frustrating and sometimes breathtaking, but either way, you’re never alone in them. I’ve got you.
I have extensive experience working in shifting and unexpected weather, and I know how to find beauty, light, and atmosphere in all of it: wind, clouds, rain, snow, or sun. When you’re willing to lean in and let the day be what it is, it often becomes something even more cinematic and unforgettable than what you planned.
And if conditions ever look truly overwhelming, I’ll be in touch ahead of time with thoughtful options. Whether we adapt, shift, or reimagine, you’ll always be taken care of.

You already know this but
Two is better than one!
I try very hard to not be just another photographer. I LOVE what I do and want to make your experience as fun and valuable as possible.
One of the ways I do this is carrying two cameras on me, each with a different lens. One that gets the wide shots (the gorgeous world around us) and a telephoto lens that zooms in from far away (to get those detail shots without being in your face, and make the background appear larger).
That way, you will have a wide variation images you recieve back, and we can work quickly to get different shots and I can work quickly so there is little time of me stopping the flow of the day.
The telephoto lens will be your best friend, I can give you intimate moments from a distance while still getting close up images, and also make the background pop out and appear larger. Something few photographers usually do, that way you are getting the rare gems in the photography realm. Something different than everyone else. See an example of this below.
