What you need to know
This park is Riverdale has a nice open area of grass alongside a river with trees on either side of a walking path. You don’t have to walk far, it’s right near the parking lot, and is gorgeous in the fall. There is also a patch of berry bushes near here that are there December-March as well. Easy to get to, no hike, just hidden
Best time to go is Spring, summer, and fall. Winter is doable but all the trees are bare.
