Island Park Wedding

Krystal + Alex

This wedding was a great example of things not going according to plan, but still being just as perfect and magical. 75% of the guests being shuttled to the Riverfront Retreat for the wedding got stuck in the snow, we were getting about an inch of snow every hour at this point! So people kept having to be dug out and the ceremony was delayed a few hours to get everyone here.

So intead of having the ceremony in the daylight, we did their formal pics in the daylight and their ceremony on the river dock in the blue hour of a snowy night. It was one I will never forget! Everyone was so cheerful and kind and happy.
