We had so much fun during this shoot! We laughed so much. Doug has been a good friend of mine for many years and I was STOKED when he asked me to fly to Maui to shoot their wedding formals. It was such a breath of fresh air seeing him so happy.

For this half of their formals we hit the famous black sand beach of Waianapanapa State Park. I could have spent forever here, it was so unique! There was a lava cave that waves lapped in and out of, black smoothed lava rock, and the black sand beach. The amount of people there was shocking (you even have to make a reservation to enter) so it was a lot of retouching to get the people off of the black sand beach!

The weather was amazing and I am pretty sure everyone on Maui knows who these two are now haha. They were frolicking on the beach, partying at luaus, and were well loved by all by the end of our trip.
