What you need to know

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AND ABSOLUTELY… popular haha. Stunning perfection in every way but the parking is super limited, and the flower picture spots are super limited. Luckily for us I know how to edit everyone out anyway.

Walking through or picking the flowers is a HUGE no no. Rangers are on patrol and have closed this spot before and/or ticketed people or kicked them out because of inconsiderate people. They don’t grow back for years if we do this. Luckily they’ve made a pathway and a few little inlet paths so it looks like you are in the flowers a little more, and I can edit any pathways to be gone so it looks like you are in flowers. Because of it’s tight parking and tight spaces, if you want to see the wildflowers it is best for groups smaller than 6 people.

The best time to go for the flowers is July and sometimes early August, though it changes every year. Touch with me to see because I am always watching for this spot to bloom! If the flowers aren’t here, spring and fall are still so lovely here with the mountains and gorgeous pine trees.
