Pre Wedding Pictures?

Should I do getting ready pictures?

Pre wedding pictures

What do they add?

Pre-wedding and getting-ready photos capture some of the most meaningful, intimate moments of your day… the quiet excitement, the laughter with your closest people, the final touches before saying “I do.”

These photos tell the beginning of your wedding story, preserving the details that might otherwise be forgotten: the dress hanging in the morning light, a handwritten note, your best friend helping with jewelry, or the emotion in your parents’ faces.

They add depth and emotion to your full gallery, making your wedding album feel complete and authentic, not just a collection of posed images, but a story that shows the full journey from anticipation to celebration.

Hair and Makeup

Though this is VERY few of the images, we will get some of your hair and makeup being done.

Getting Dressed

Meaningful moments

Kids? Neices and nephews? Flower girl? Have them help!

  • You’ll look your absolute best. Fresh makeup, styled hair, and soft natural light make this the perfect time for stunning portraits. This can help calm you down as well, some quiet moments to breathe before everything starts.

  • You get meaningful, candid moments. The laughter, nerves, hugs, gift-giving, and quiet in-between moments before the ceremony often become your most emotional photos. These memories can fade fast though the excitement of it all. Some pictures even capture moments you weren’t there to see, giving you a more complete view of your day when it’s all over.

  • Your details are beautifully documented. Rings, perfume, invitations, jewelry, and florals are styled in artistic flat lays that complete your wedding story. These were all chosen with intention and deserve to be artfully captured.

  • It tells the beginning of your day. These photos add context and emotion so your gallery feels like a full story, not just the ceremony and reception and posed pictures.

  • It helps the day feel calmer. Having your photographer there early creates a relaxed rhythm and ensures no moment feels rushed or missed. It can help get the nerves under control and I’m there to help guide you through and keep things going and feeling calm. I’ve seen it all, and can help with whatever!
